Home Medical Equipment Delivery Technician is an onsite role based in Oak Ridge, TN, delivering and setting up equipment in patients’ homes. Compensation is a flat rate of $150–$600 per delivery, depending on equipment type and setup complexity. Giving Home Health Care provides personalized in-home care to people affected by health conditions related to work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. The technician delivers, assembles, and checks home medical equipment, educates patients and caregivers on safe use, and documents delivery and maintenance. The role also responds to equipment-related requests and coordinates with warehouse staff to support timely, safe service.

What you'll do

• Deliver, set up, and assemble HME/DME
• educate patients and caregivers on use and safety
• check, clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment
• troubleshoot equipment
• respond to emergency and on-call requests, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• document deliveries and patient education
• track inventory with warehouse staff
• maintain the delivery vehicle.
