Medical Device Service Technician

Job overview

The Medical Device Service Technician role is onsite in Irving, TX, with pay of $19 to $24 per hour. Astura Medical makes surgical instrumentation, and this role works with engineering and quality control to ensure damaged instruments are repaired in a timely manner. The technician modifies and repairs surgical instrumentation and documents device changes in the company’s electronic document control system. This work supports timely repair tracking and coordination with engineering and quality teams.

What you'll do

• Repair surgical instrumentation through mechanical assembly and disassembly, milling, drilling, grinding, media blasting, and calibration
• create documentation to track device modifications in the electronic document control system.
