Electrical Engineering Technical Director

The Electrical Engineering Technical Director role is onsite in Woodinville, WA. Pay is $150,000–$175,000 per year. Solutech’s mission is to keep critical medical devices available to support patient treatment and diagnosis. The director leads the electronics repair and engineering function as both a technical authority and people leader. The role develops repair capabilities for new device modalities, uses failure data to inform the engineering roadmap, represents technical work with customers, and builds the team’s troubleshooting skills.

What you'll do

• Lead technical reviews, escalations, and customer discussions
• use failure-mode data to inform research and development decisions
• develop repair capabilities for new modalities, including evaluation, parts and tooling, testing, validation, training, and documentation
• coach technicians in root-cause failure analysis
• guide team skill and capacity development.
