What you'll do

• Perform management functions including hiring, discipline, and employee evaluations
• plan and facilitate meetings on resident care
• manage the unit to maintain quality care
• support nursing staff recruitment, retention, development, and continuing education
• contact physicians as needed
• review staffing and census and reassign personnel when necessary
• monitor resident conditions and clinical operations
• ensure medications, supplies, and records are available
• orient and guide staff
• participate in the facility quality assurance program.
