What you'll do

• Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Radiology Operations Supervisor, performs those duties directly involved with a variety of Ultrasound imaging procedures and applying high frequency wound waves to provide static, real time, and doppler images/wave forms of the internal human anatomy to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathology.
• Ultrasound exams are dependent upon the quality of images produced which is relative to the skill of the sonographer.
• Is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Carries out policies and procedures in accordance with all regulatory bodies.
• Operates the equipment used to produce optimal images.
• Operates equipment safely and maintains standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the A.R.D.M.S.
• Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
