Matern Professional Engineering is an employee-owned multidisciplinary engineering firm providing engineering services throughout Florida and the Southeast. The role designs electrical systems for building projects, preparing coordinated construction documents and calculations for systems such as lighting, power distribution, emergency power, fire alarms, and low-voltage infrastructure. It contributes constructible, code-aware designs through coordination with project partners and internal disciplines.

What you'll do

• Prepare electrical construction documents in Revit and/or AutoCAD
• develop electrical drawings, lighting layouts and calculations, panel schedules, load and voltage-drop calculations, one-line diagrams, specifications, and design narratives
• coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, authorities, and internal engineering and construction teams
• evaluate existing conditions and identify design conflicts.
