Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Alternate Day Program

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Alternate Day Program role is onsite in Genoa, IL, primarily in the Developmental Training building and occasionally in vehicles and other agency sites. What you'll do

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living as needed
• implement and document strategy outcomes
• provide supervision and oversight of physical and mental well-being
• incorporate repositioning, toileting, and self-care into routines
• engage individuals in activities
• provide input to the DT Administrator and Interdisciplinary Team
• assist with scheduled van transitions and secure individuals and equipment for transport
• participate in evacuation and emergency response
• attend required training and meetings
• protect individual rights and confidentiality
• follow policies and procedures.
