The Dietary Cook role is onsite in Randallstown, MD, with compensation of $19–$22.50 per hour. The cook supports food service at Patapsco Healthcare’s skilled nursing facility, providing quality meals under facility standards and direction from food services leadership and the dietitian. The role prepares food in accordance with menus, prescribed diets, applicable regulations, and established procedures. It also supports coordination of food service, diet changes, documentation, and consistent quality and safety practices.

What you'll do

• Review menus before food preparation
• assist with regular and special diet menus as prescribed
• coordinate food services with other departments and the facility dietitian
• follow food service procedures
• assist with quality and quantity methods and standardized work
• process diet changes and new diets
• complete required forms and reports
• maintain resident health information confidentiality.

Why this role

Safe-Serve certification and a high school diploma or GED are required. Long-term care dietary experience is preferred but not required.
