Maintenance Technician – C Shift

The Maintenance Technician – C Shift role is onsite in Dallas, TX. Compensation is $34 per hour. EssilorLuxottica designs, manufactures, and distributes ophthalmic lenses, frames, and sunglasses, and operates lens-finishing and prescription laboratories. The technician maintains and repairs optical processing and production equipment, supporting manufacturing operations through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role also documents procedures and provides guidance or training to assigned employees or teams.

What you'll do

• Install, perform preventive maintenance on, and repair production equipment
• diagnose failures and replace defective components using technical documentation and standard electronic equipment
• create or update SOPs and work instructions
• inspect and repair equipment using mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum technologies
• provide guidance, training, and direction to assigned employees or teams
• maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
