What you'll do
- Complete preventive maintenance work orders
- support maintenance programs for sawmill machinery, waste and dust collection systems, yard equipment, compressors, and buildings
- initiate purchasing of consumable parts with the parts purchaser
- weld and fabricate using MIG and stick welding
- assemble, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- adjust clearances and align parts
- learn to operate sawmill equipment
- travel to locations as needed
- work longer hours on short notice.
