Concrete Estimator

The Concrete Estimator role is onsite in Dallas, TX, with office hours Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The position supports Southwest Construction’s Concrete division. The estimator develops detailed estimates and takeoffs for new concrete construction and repair projects, helping the company evaluate bids and pursue profitable work. The role also coordinates with customers, sales, production, estimating leadership, and project partners to support planning and project execution.

What you'll do

• Estimate new concrete construction and repair projects
• perform plan takeoffs and review specifications and quantitative bids
• contact customers with takeoff questions
• attend weekly bid-schedule meetings and in-house project meetings
• develop schedules with Production and Estimating leadership
• work with Sales on bid reviews and proposals
• communicate with general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and management
• participate in preplanning and project execution. Site visits may be required when needed.
