Warehouse Shipping Lead

The Warehouse Shipping Lead role is onsite in New Albany, OH. Compensation is $22–$24 per hour. Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the lead supports NEFCO's distribution operations for construction supply materials. The lead coordinates picking, packing, checking, loading, and parcel shipments while helping maintain order accuracy, inventory integrity, and safe, orderly warehouse operations. The role also guides staff and promotes communication and teamwork to meet distribution goals.

What you'll do

• Ensure orders and inter-branch transfers are picked, checked, packed, and loaded according to company procedures
• maintain order accuracy and quality
• work with the Inbound/Inventory Manager to control inventory and reduce errors
• ensure parcel shipments are processed
• communicate policies and administer corrective action as necessary
• foster teamwork
• support warehouse cleanliness and orderliness
• ensure safe work practices
• direct, coach, support, and delegate to associates.

Why this role

Schedule is Monday–Friday with occasional Saturday work. Requires at least two years of industrial warehousing or distribution experience, high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and be recertified. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
