The Senior Cook role is onsite in Durham, NC, with pay of $19.00–$20.00 per hour. Morrison Living’s culinary team supports residents at Croasdaile Village and aims to make an impact in the lives of those it serves. The cook prepares nutritious, properly flavored meals while following recipes, food-safety practices, and applicable standards. The role also supports kitchen operations through equipment care, food storage, production records, and cross-training, and may oversee food service associates as assigned.

What you'll do

• Prepare entrees and menu items using established recipes
• operate and clean equipment
• store, label, and date food
• follow HACCP and sanitation requirements
• assist the Food Service Director with production records and documentation
• assist with employee cross-training
• may oversee cooking activities of assigned food service associates.
