Junior Cyber Incident Response Analyst

The Junior Cyber Incident Response Analyst role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $83,500–$87,500 per year. This temporary position is scheduled to end in February 2027 and supports the client’s 24/7 Operations Center. The analyst serves as an initial contact for cybersecurity incident communications and helps coordinate case intake, triage, escalation, tracking, and reporting so incidents move through the response lifecycle and stakeholders remain informed.

What you'll do

• Provide first-line support for reported incidents and technical issues
• categorize and escalate cases under standard procedures
• coordinate with specialized and regional teams, partners, and private-sector entities
• track service requests and resolutions
• monitor shared mailboxes, incident reports, and phone systems
• correlate cyber, physical, and communication threats
• contribute to operational reports
• participate in shift synchronization meetings.
