Behavioral Health Technician – Part-Time

Job overview

The Behavioral Health Technician – Part-Time role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour. Northstar Behavioral Health Network provides care for people with opioid and stimulant use disorders and those needing intensive residential treatment services. The technician supports clients’ daily program needs through medication administration and documentation, monitoring, transportation, intake assistance, and objective recordkeeping. The role also helps clients engage with program activities and works with counselors and other staff to maintain a safe, supportive residential environment.

What you'll do

• Administer and document client medications
• monitor client and house activities
• transport clients to appointments and intake or discharge locations
• assist with intake and orientation
• document client information
• support recreational activities and client goals
• complete clerical tasks
• assist with food preparation and household cleaning as needed
• participate in rotational or off-shift schedules and holiday rotation as applicable.
