The Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Port Byron, IL; compensation is $18–$22 per hour. New Horizon Kennel is a pet care facility providing grooming, lodging, training, and enrichment services for dogs and cats. The technician maintains attractive, functional outdoor spaces and assists with facility upkeep so the kennel can provide a clean and comfortable environment. Work includes landscaping and plant care, equipment operation, seasonal tasks, and general property repairs as needed.

What you'll do

• Complete landscaping, turf maintenance, and plant care
• safely operate equipment and machinery
• contribute to landscape design projects such as layouts, edging, and retaining walls
• perform seasonal outdoor work including snow removal
• assist with general property maintenance and repairs, including carpentry and minor electrical work.
