What you'll do

• Install fiber-optic and copper twisted-pair drop cables, test access points, network interface devices, and initial wiring or rewiring
• locate telephone and privately owned facilities
• maintain residential and business DSL, POTS, and fiber-optic internet services
• splice and test copper and fiber-optic cabling in the outside plant and on customer premises
• troubleshoot and repair subscriber service issues
• and support customer relations.
