Consumer Loan Servicing Representative

The Consumer Loan Servicing Representative role is onsite in New Bedford, MA, with compensation of $19.50–$22.50 per hour. New Bedford Credit Union’s role supports consumer loan file review and the credit union’s loan collection activity. The representative checks loan documentation for completeness and accuracy, supports loan servicing and related reporting, and assists with collections and member inquiries. The work also helps maintain accurate credit reporting and compliance with applicable requirements, including FCRA, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act obligations.

What you'll do

• Review consumer loan files for complete and accurate documentation
• upload and store supporting documents on WyComm
• track and release titles, including electronic titles
• assist with Credit Committee reports, bankruptcy filings, debt cancellation reporting, credit history disputes, insurance claims, and incoming mail
• track denied and cancelled loans and monitor ECOA
• make collections calls as needed and process attorney collection checks
• assist with charge-off, repossession, and participation loan payment processes
• review loan reports
• maintain member accounts
• answer member inquiries as needed
• ensure accurate credit reporting and error resolution
• process indirect program funding packages as needed
• comply with BSA, OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements.
