Registered Dietitian — Per Diem

The Registered Dietitian — Per Diem role is onsite in Westborough, MA. Compensation is $40 per hour. The dietitian joins the culinary team at Whittier Health Network and must be available for rotating weekend coverage. The role manages patients’ nutritional care through assessment, care planning, counseling, and discharge planning. It works with medical and nursing staff to support nutrition-related recommendations and contributes to culinary and nutrition quality-improvement activities.

What you'll do

• Formulate nutritional care plans and oversee implementation
• follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice
• confer with medical and nursing staff about patient nutritional status
• attend patient-care conferences
• conduct nutritional assessments and discharge planning
• support Culinary and Nutritional Department CQI activities
• provide nutrition counseling, ongoing evaluations, and education about diets and eating habits
• apply geriatric and rehabilitation knowledge to patient care.
