The Vice President of Communications role is onsite at the Regional Food Bank’s Montgomery or Latham, New York locations. Pay is $90,000–$100,000 per year. The Regional Food Bank serves partner agencies across 23 northeastern New York counties and works to alleviate hunger, prevent food waste, and nourish communities. The vice president leads integrated communications and marketing to advance the organization’s mission, reputation, and public awareness of food insecurity. The role aligns campaigns across fundraising, advocacy, programs, volunteer engagement, and community outreach, using measurable outcomes to guide strategy.

What you'll do

• Develop and lead integrated communications and marketing strategy
• advise executive leadership
• lead campaigns across marketing, public relations, social media, storytelling, advocacy, fundraising, and community engagement
• guide marketing and public relations staff and external creative partners
• strengthen brand awareness and media visibility
• establish KPIs and evaluate campaign effectiveness
• coordinate complex initiatives from planning through execution.
