The Experienced HVAC Mechanic role is onsite in Worcester, MA, with local travel to customer sites no more than one hour from Sutton, MA. Pay is $105,000–$145,000 per year. Renaud HVAC & Controls provides commercial heating and air-conditioning installation and service in Central Massachusetts. The mechanic installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains HVAC and refrigeration equipment and control systems for commercial customers. The role also supports system design, technician training, safety compliance, and reliable service delivery; emergency calls and an on-call rotation are part of the position.

What you'll do

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, air-conditioning, and refrigeration equipment, including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, heat pumps, and rooftop units
• repair components such as expansion valves, compressors, motors, and coils
• troubleshoot direct digital and pneumatic controls
• check system distribution
• assist with HVAC system design and modifications
• perform preventive maintenance
• assist with technician training and potentially supervise technicians
• document work and recommended solutions
• follow applicable safety rules
• respond to emergency calls and participate in the on-call rotation.
