The Assistant Manager role is onsite in Sheridan, WY. Pay is $21.50 per hour during the first 8 to 12 weeks of training and $23.00 per hour when fully trained, plus an EBITDA bonus. The role supports Jersey Mike’s restaurant operations and its goal of providing quality subs and customer service. The Assistant Manager helps lead daily restaurant operations, supports and develops crew members, and maintains service, food quality, and operational standards. The position is intended to prepare a successful candidate to become a General Manager.

What you'll do

• Lead a crew of 3 to 7
• open and close the store
• serve as key holder
• prepare bread and perform food prep
• slice products
• create employee schedules and place inventory orders
• assist with employee training
• fill in for the Manager as needed
• participate in management meetings and strategy sessions
• provide customer service and maintain restaurant cleanliness.
