The Chief of Staff / Operations Director is an onsite leadership position in Delano, MN, with compensation of $90,000–$130,000 per year, depending on experience. The role supports Rein Dance, a private, family-owned dressage facility, and partners closely with the Owner and Equestrian Lead. The position establishes operating systems and accountability across people, property operations, projects, vendors, finances, continuity, and compliance. It helps leadership turn priorities into coordinated action while ensuring the equestrian program has the operational support it needs; horse-care and barn decisions remain with the Equestrian Lead.

What you'll do

• Establish leadership check-ins, weekly priorities, project reviews, decision tracking, and reporting
• clarify ownership across operations, staffing, vendors, safety, and projects
• build procedures, maintenance plans, vendor records, budgets, and project plans
• support managers with feedback, schedules, recruiting, and onboarding
• coordinate property projects, vendors, maintenance, and facility readiness
• oversee operating-side emergency response and follow-up
• monitor insurance, licensing, safety, employment, and recordkeeping requirements
• review spending, contracts, proposals, and invoices
• provide weekly updates and maintain records.
