Property Services Technician

Job overview

The Property Services Technician role is onsite in Louisville, KY, with travel to local centers as assigned and occasional overnight travel as needed. Compensation is $26.44 per hour. Dismas Charities provides community-based adult re-entry programs and residential and non-residential supervision and treatment services. The technician helps keep centers and the corporate office safe, clean, and in working order through routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep. The work supports Dismas Charities’ facilities and the services delivered at its centers.

What you'll do

• Assist with repairs to building structures, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and HVAC
• perform basic repairs such as replacing bulbs, filters, and fixtures and patching and painting walls
• participate in facility walk-throughs and preventive maintenance checks
• report safety concerns
• assist onsite contractors as directed
• record repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory
• monitor supplies
• support multiple centers
• move furniture and assist with event setup
• participate in training and safety instruction
• travel to local centers and occasionally overnight
• participate in rotational on-call responsibilities.
