What you'll do

• This position is responsible for solid to expert knowledge of the modality for which they are currently cross-training.
• Communicates and works independently in performing all procedures on customers ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood.
• Prioritizes, provides, and promotes quality patient care to support the Mission, Vision, and Values of St.
• David’s Healthcare Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards.
• Positively reflects concern and consideration when interacting with patients, medical staff, and employees.
• Demonstrates independent critical thinking skills to assume accountability for personal and team contributions.
• Required to have at least two of the credentials bulleted below.
• Registered technologist with current certification by ARRT (R) and CE compliance.
• ARRT (VI), (CV), or (MRI) certification within one (1) year of cross-training start date.
• ARRT (CT) certification within six (6) months of cross-training start date.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.
• 2 years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility is desirable.
• Familiar with the majority of diagnostic radiology procedures.
• High degree of manual, mental and dexterity skills necessary for the operation of equipment and patient care.
• Capable of applying technical skills to all ages of patients.
• Able to work independently.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiologic technology.

Experience

2 years of previous diagnostic experience in an acute care facility is desirable.
