Solid Waste Driver

The Solid Waste Driver role is onsite in Hot Springs Village, AR; compensation is not specified. The position is part of the Public Works department’s Solid Waste division and supports operation of the community’s solid waste system. The driver completes collection routes safely and efficiently, maintains assigned vehicles and equipment, and assists with related cleanup and pickups to support reliable service across the community.

What you'll do

• Operate the solid waste collection vehicle and complete daily routes
• follow safety and solid waste policies
• pick up roadway and common-property litter
• clean vehicles, tools, and equipment
• complete and log pre- and post-trip inspections
• use route-optimization software and mapping
• assist with yard waste, special pickups, and illegal-dump cleanup as assigned
• and help ensure workers perform duties safely and efficiently.
