Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Conroe, TX, with a first-shift schedule of 4:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.; overtime is available as needed. Compensation is not specified. Thompson Pipe Group manufactures pipe products for infrastructure projects and operates manufacturing facilities across the country. The technician maintains and repairs facility equipment to support production, reduce downtime, and promote safe operations. The role troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and helps keep production equipment reliable.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic equipment
• install, start up, shut down, and maintain equipment under safety procedures
• diagnose and repair electrical components
• use PLC and AC/DC motor drive knowledge to troubleshoot
• interpret technical manuals, drawings, diagrams, and schematics
• communicate equipment concerns and hazards
• perform preventive maintenance
• support safe equipment operation and maintain an organized work area.
