The Tractor and Mower Technician/Mechanic role is onsite in Statesville, NC, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pay is $30–$55 per hour based on experience, skill level, and productivity. A & A Sales and Service operates a service team supporting tractors, mowers, and outdoor power equipment. The technician diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and engine problems, and performs routine maintenance and inspections. The role documents findings and completed work, communicates repair recommendations, and helps keep shop jobs moving while maintaining workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, fuel, and engine concerns
• repair tractors, mowers, and outdoor power equipment
• perform scheduled maintenance
• diagnose and repair gasoline and diesel engines, hydraulic systems, steering, PTO, transmissions, drivetrains, and electrical systems
• inspect equipment
• document findings and repairs
• communicate technical information to service advisors
• follow shop procedures and maintain a safe, organized work area
• collaborate with the service team.
