The Lead Custodian role is onsite at JBER Alaska, listed in Anchorage, AK. The schedule is either Monday–Friday or Wednesday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. Compensation is $23.04 per hour. CW Resources is a national nonprofit providing mission-driven services, including vocational rehabilitation, and this role supports a custodial team primarily made up of adults with disabilities. The lead performs custodial work while coaching and supporting team members in cleaning practices, safety, and workplace skills. The role helps maintain a clean, safe facility, tracks progress and accommodations, and encourages team members to build confidence and independence at work.

What you'll do

• Teach custodial staff cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and equipment use
• explain tasks and standards
• observe work and provide constructive feedback
• help team members address work challenges and adjustments
• track performance, progress, and accommodations
• clean and disinfect restrooms and shared spaces
• sweep, mop, vacuum, remove waste, restock supplies, and operate cleaning equipment safely
• report maintenance issues
• secure the building
• work alongside the team and support skill development.
