What you'll do

• Assist the Director of Nursing with supervision of nursing care and staff
• support nursing department programs and meetings
• interview, recommend, hire, train, schedule, and evaluate employees
• address staffing concerns and resident or employee complaints
• conduct resident rounds
• assist with care documentation, assessments, care plans, and monitoring of nursing interventions
• help maintain compliance with nursing standards and applicable regulations
• verify nursing staff credentials
• oversee the facility in the absence of higher-ranking management.

Why this role
