Enterprise Architect

Job overview

The Enterprise Architect role is remote, with telework for local candidates subject to customer discretion. Pay is $125,000–$175,000 per year. The role supports ARES Corporation’s Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services contract. The architect analyzes, plans, designs, documents, assesses, and manages enterprise architecture to align IT strategy, systems, and processes with organizational mission and goals. The role guides technology decisions, supports IT project teams, and helps ensure integration, governance, and security across the enterprise.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain enterprise reference models and IT repository information
• identify gaps between current and target architecture
• recommend transition plans, policies, and principles
• identify system improvement opportunities
• educate stakeholders
• guide IT project teams
• document enterprise infrastructure and processes
• participate in test planning, validation, and reviews
• evaluate architecture impacts
• coordinate governance and portfolio management
• support Agile execution and service-oriented architecture development.

Why this role

Remote position; travel may be required to CONUS and OCONUS locations at approximately 10%. Requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance, eligibility for TS/SCI, and ability to maintain it.
