The Preschool Cook role is onsite in Clermont, FL, and pays $15–$16 per hour. This part-time position is estimated at 20 hours per week. The Learning Experience’s childcare team relies on the cook to prepare nutritious meals for preschool children. The cook plans and prepares meals that meet nutritional requirements while tracking food allergies and communicating them to teachers. The role also supports safe food handling, supply purchasing, inventory records, and positive interactions with children and parents.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals for preschool children
• track food allergies and communicate identified allergies to teachers with each food delivery
• follow food safety, handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• collaborate with Center Leadership on food and supply purchases
• maintain inventory records
• communicate with parents and children.
