What you'll do
- Plan and guide nursing staff development
- round on the unit at least daily and ensure clinical protocols and nursing policies are followed
- manage clinical competency and training systems
- interview, hire, discipline, and evaluate employees
- facilitate resident-care meetings
- review timesheets
- support recruitment, retention, and continuing education
- evaluate nursing services
- manage staffing schedules and the nurse on-call system
- develop and monitor the department budget
- resolve concerns
- address survey and standards-of-care issues
- compile reports
- ensure pharmacy, dietary, and physician consults are followed
- assume Center responsibilities in the Administrator’s absence.

Why this role
Requires a valid RN license in the state employed, valid CPR certification, and three years of Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or equivalent supervisory nursing experience; BSN preferred.
