The Associate Attorney, Civil Litigation (Insurance Defense) role is hybrid in Los Angeles, CA, with three office days per week and the possibility of two remote days, subject to client and practice needs. The expected salary range is $125,000–$180,000 per year. Gray, Duffy, Eisenbaum & Lee is a boutique litigation defense firm handling civil defense matters. The attorney manages assigned cases through the litigation lifecycle, prepares legal documents and analysis, and works with experienced attorneys on strategy, discovery, motions, negotiations, and trial preparation to serve client matters.

What you'll do

• Manage assigned litigation matters with appropriate supervision
• draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other documents
• conduct legal research and prepare written analysis
• participate in case strategy, discovery planning, motion practice, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation
• take and defend depositions and appear in court as experience permits
• communicate with clients, carriers, counsel, experts, and colleagues
• comply with laws, court rules, ethics, and firm policies.
