This role performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and knowledge of anatomy and patient positioning. The MRI Technologist explains procedures, addresses patient concerns, and performs examinations with proper contrast media protocols.

What you'll do

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures.
• Utilize MRI equipment and knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Perform examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images.
• Ensure proper film identification.
• Evaluate quality of MRI procedure.
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.

Experience

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered. 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist. One year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist preferred.
