Test Engineer — Swing Shift

The Test Engineer — Swing Shift role is onsite in San Jose, CA, working 3:15 p.m.–11:45 p.m. Salary is $70,000–$80,000 per year. Foxconn supports electronics manufacturing operations, including PCBA and system-level products. The engineer develops and improves test processes across the manufacturing lifecycle, supporting product quality, production readiness, and new product introductions. The role works with manufacturing, quality, NPI, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve test issues and improve efficiency.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain test environments, plans, processes, and procedures
• support manufacturing test equipment and programs
• contribute to NPI validation and readiness
• analyze test data, failures, downtime, and repair trends
• troubleshoot PCBs, assemblies, fixtures, and equipment
• support production lines
• optimize test capacity and utilization
• coordinate equipment and vendor needs
• support preventive maintenance
• train technicians and operators
• participate in PFMEA and root-cause investigations
• maintain documentation.
