Senior Estimator

The Senior Estimator role is onsite in Portland, ME, with a stated salary range of $137,000–$195,000 per year. The role coordinates with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to assess project scope, manage bid quality, and support project planning and business development.

What you'll do

• Lead estimating for complex projects, including conceptual estimates, negotiated bids, budgets, general conditions, systems studies, comparisons, and value engineering
• analyze drawings and specifications
• prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing
• assess project scope and risks
• prepare qualifications, assumptions, cost comparisons, in-house budgets, and GMPs
• manage subcontractor solicitation and selection
• quality-check bids and estimates
• collaborate with stakeholders and participate in business development presentations and interviews.
