Pipe Spool Fabrication Technician

The Pipe Spool Fabrication Technician works onsite in Orange, TX, at $31 per hour. The role supports fabrication of accurate, ready-to-install piping assemblies alongside welders and other shop teammates. This position turns drawings and specifications into piping spools by planning work, preparing and aligning pipe and fittings, and checking completed assemblies against dimensions and quality requirements.

What you'll do

• Review blueprints, piping schematics, and fabrication specifications
• lay out, measure, mark, and cut pipe
• prepare ends for fit-up
• align pipe sections with flanges, elbows, and fittings
• use measuring and fabrication tools safely
• verify dimensions, alignment, tolerances, and quality
• collaborate with welders
• maintain housekeeping and safety standards.
