Reporting to the chief nursing officer, the director leads a 24-bed unit and a team of 27 full-time equivalents. The role supports a coordinated continuum of care and works with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues to improve patient and family outcomes while overseeing program planning, staff development, and operations.

What you'll do

• Lead the 24-bed cardiac care unit and oversee 27 FTEs
• collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• coordinate care conferences for high-risk and medically complex patients
• evaluate and recommend technologies and services
• develop staff and patient education programs
• lead IRB research projects
• direct program planning, operational efficiency, and staff performance, selection, and development.
