Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist role is hybrid in Minnesota, supporting the Onamia, MN location; compensation is $60,000–$65,000 per year. The role joins Nexus Family Healing’s HR team at a national mental health organization serving youth and families. The specialist builds candidate pipelines and manages recruiting activities from sourcing through offers and onboarding checks, while maintaining compliant requisition and applicant tracking system records. The role also partners with agency leaders on HR guidance and employee engagement, performance, and retention.

What you'll do

• Source diverse candidates and build relationships with colleges, universities, nonprofit and community organizations
• schedule and present at job fairs and information sessions
• facilitate interviews and selection, pre-screen candidates, and participate in onsite interviews
• extend offers and initiate drug and background checks
• communicate with hiring managers and candidates
• maintain accurate requisition and candidate records and recruiting reports
• advise and coach leaders on HR policies and procedures
• document resignations, initiate backfill recruiting, and conduct exit interviews
• contribute to HR committees.
