Preschool/Pre-K Assistant Teacher

The Preschool/Pre-K Assistant Teacher role is full-time and onsite in Baltimore, MD, with pay of $17–$19 per hour. This role supports the Lead Teacher by helping deliver age-appropriate learning and daily care in a safe, engaging classroom. Through supervision, positive interactions, and communication with families, the assistant contributes to children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans
• support children’s development through engagement and positive interactions
• prepare classroom materials and maintain a safe, clean learning environment
• supervise and provide individualized support
• communicate with families about progress and daily activities
• follow health, safety, and licensing requirements
• support daily care routines.
