The Preschool Cook role is onsite in Forney, TX. Pay is $14–$16 per hour. The Learning Experience provides childcare and early-learning services; this role prepares meals for preschool children. The cook plans and prepares nutritious meals while following CACFP requirements and food-safety procedures. The role also tracks allergies, maintains meal records, and coordinates with center leadership to support children’s dietary needs.

What you'll do

• Plan, prepare, and cook meals that meet CACFP nutritional requirements
• track children’s food allergies and communicate identified allergies to teachers with food deliveries
• follow food handling, storage, safety, and sanitation procedures
• collaborate with center leadership on food and supply purchases
• maintain inventory records, menus, production records, and meal counts
• work with the director on inventory and ordering.
