Assess respiratory status by performing focused exams and interpreting breath sounds. Deliver evidence-based therapy, including oxygen support and aerosolized medications. Manage ventilation and airways, including initiating and adjusting invasive and noninvasive ventilation. Support patients and the care team through education and collaboration.
