Job overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Early Intervention/Preschool role is home- and community-based across Westchester County, NY, with work during and/or after school. Fee-for-service compensation is $86–$110 per hour; full-time salary is also available, with details to be discussed during the interview. Family of Kidz supports children with special needs and their families. The SLP evaluates children’s speech and language, develops and delivers therapeutic interventions, and tracks progress toward individualized goals. The role coordinates with families, school teams, supervisors, and other professionals to support children’s communication and development.
What you'll do
- Design and implement individual or group therapeutic interventions
- administer and document speech and language evaluations
- communicate with supervisors and coordinators about case management
- maintain attendance and billing logs and schedules
- collect data on IFSP/IEP goals and report progress quarterly
- contribute to CPSE/CSE meetings or annual reviews
- collaborate with parents, teachers, and evaluation teams.
