Special Operations Forces Joint Training and Exercise Planner

The Special Operations Forces Joint Training and Exercise Planner role is an onsite, full-time position at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL, contingent upon contract award. Compensation is not specified. RMGS provides security-related training and advisory services to the U.S. Government, allied nations, and private industry. The planner designs and coordinates joint exercises and training, supports their execution and after-action reporting, and assesses readiness and interoperability. The role contributes exercise-planning expertise to SOCCENT and the broader Department of Defense exercise community.

What you'll do

• Design scenarios, plans, and scripts for nominated exercises
• support exercise planning, coordination, integration, execution, and after-action reports
• design and plan SOF command post, tabletop, and field training exercises for SOCCENT in CONUS and OCONUS locations
• plan and execute joint and combined training assessments
• prepare executive-level briefs and presentations
• develop training objectives in accordance with joint doctrine
• evaluate exercise design throughout the exercise lifecycle.
