What you'll do
- Provide nursing care during preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- assess, monitor, and document patient condition
- prepare patients, equipment, and operating rooms
- serve as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or post-anesthesia care nurse as assigned
- administer ordered medications and treatments
- maintain a safe, sterile environment
- collaborate with the care team
- monitor recovery and educate patients and families
- respond to changes and emergencies
- follow safety, regulatory, and infection-prevention standards.
