Activities Assistant

Job overview

The Activities Assistant role is onsite in Marlborough, MA, working 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. and including every other weekend. Pay is $17.50 per hour, paid weekly. Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center's recreation team plans resident events and programming. The assistant helps organize and run activities that encourage residents' physical, mental, social, and spiritual engagement. By learning residents' interests and tailoring individual and group programming, the role supports resident care goals and the therapeutic team.

What you'll do

• Help coordinate and run events and activities
• build relationships with residents and learn their interests
• organize group and individual programming
• encourage participation in activities
• assist with resident care goals alongside the therapeutic team
• document and report unusual or significant findings and reportable events.
