What you'll do

• Collect and analyze data to estimate project time, materials, labor, and cost
• combine historical data and current trends to prepare and present estimates
• solicit and select subcontractors
• review bid scope sheets and subcontractor proposals
• conduct quantity surveys
• use the bid system and distribute addenda
• hand off estimating projects to project managers.
