What you'll do

• Maintain medication confidentiality and security
• store and retrieve medications
• document medications on administration records and medication sheets
• orient new residents to medication policies and observe medication-taking
• report suspected misuse and medication errors
• connect residents with healthcare providers and prescribers
• coordinate refills with providers and pharmacies
• count, inventory, and dispose of medications
• ensure accurate medication return and release at discharge
• train and support residential staff on medication observation practices and policies.
