Behavior Technician

The Behavior Technician role is onsite in Northport, NY, with work described across Suffolk, Nassau, and Long Island; pay is $22–$55 per hour. The technician provides direct support by implementing behavior plans and skill-acquisition programs under a Behavior Analysis Supervisor. The role collects treatment data, communicates progress with families and support teams, participates in supervision, and helps individuals build meaningful community connections.

What you'll do

• Implement behavior plans and skill-acquisition programs developed by the Behavior Analysis Supervisor
• collect treatment outcome data using data sheets, session notes, and other measures
• participate in team meetings and communicate progress to parents, support team members, and supervisors
• assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their support staff in building community connections
• follow crisis and emergency procedures
• participate in routine supervision and implement recommended program changes
• complete other duties as directed by the Clinical Director.
